Diane is a Seattle attorney who grew up in New Jersey and received her undergraduate education at Union College, in Schenectady, New York. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and German in 1997. Diane is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor society. While at Union, Diane spent a term abroad studying at the Goethe Institute in Freiburg, Germany.

Diane received her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac College School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut in 2000, where she was a member of the law review and received a distinguished academic achievement award. Later that year, Diane moved to Seattle and was admitted to the Washington bar in June of 2001. Diane joined Mullavey, Prout, Grenley & Foe, LLP in May of 2002.
