Alan Foe graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle in 1967. He obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 1972 and a law degree from the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University School of Law) in 1976. He began practice in Ballard in 1977, and became a partner at Mullavey, Prout, Grenley & Foe in 1980.

Alan has over 25 years of broad-ranging experience assisting businesses and individuals. His practice includes almost all legal aspects of small- to mid-sized businesses; from formation to dissolution. Along with specialized knowledge in commercial law, maritime, real estate, and construction law, Alan is experienced in estate planning and other personal legal matters.

Alan is licensed to practice before all federal courts (District Court, Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court) and all state courts of Washington. The letters "PS" on Alan's title indicate that he is operating within a Professional Service Corporation.
