ESTATE PLANNING, ESTATE ADMINISTRATION, and TRUST ADMINISTRATION
Mullavey, Prout, Grenley & Foe, LLP has one of the largest estate practices in King County. Our firm is often asked to provide expert witnesses and to give seminars in estate planning and estate administration (a.k.a. probate).
Our attorneys assist people of varied means - from modest to wealthy - in the creation of estate plans and documents, such as a Last Will and Testament, a Living Trust, or a Community Property Agreement for the transference of wealth between spouses and from generation to generation. Care is given to the transfer of business interests, gifting plans, testamentary trusts, living trusts, avoidance of probate for out-of-state assets, charitable giving, the handling of nonprobate assets including IRAs, beneficiary designations, and planning for minor heirs among other things.
We offer customized estate-planning packages for couples and individuals that may include documents such as Powers of Attorney, Last Wills and Testaments, Living Wills, and a Community Property Agreement. We also prepare irrevocable life insurance trusts.
Our attorneys are available to assist personal representatives, executors, administrators, heirs, and beneficiaries with matters such as the probate of Wills, the administration of decedents' estates, will contests, Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (TEDRA) proceedings, the filing of creditor claims, the defense of creditor claims, and non-judicial dispute resolution agreements. We are also prepared to assist attorneys-in-fact and Trustees to perform their duties under Powers of Attorney, Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, and Testamentary Trusts.
